We'll find out in early December whether they've won Bronze, Silver or Gold in both 'Self Catering Provider of the Year' and 'Access for All Tourism'.</p><p>The five luxury ground-floor self-catering cottages located in the South Downs National Park, sleeping 6-8 people, can be booked individually or as a group, offer excellent accessibility and both children and pets are welcome. The five luxury ground-floor self-catering cottages located in the South Downs National Park, sleeping 6-8 people, can be booked individually or as a group, offer excellent accessibility and both children and pets are welcome. With underfloor heating, wood burners, individual gardens with hot tubs and a stunning view, they offer a comfortable year-round base for walking, cycling and sightseeing. They are members of Hampshire Fare so you’ll be greeted with a pack of locally sourced produce, including a home-made cake, they can provide meals for the fridge for you to cook, recommend local places to dine out or even arrange a personal chef. The tables can seat 12, and the beds are all zip-and-link so the rooms can be made up as either twin or super kingsize, so the cottages are ideal for groups as well as multi-generational gatherings of friends or families.
They are currently offering a 20% discount on breaks outside school holidays between November and end of February 2016. There is still some availability at Wallops Wood Cottages between now and Christmas, and with its proximity to Winchester, just 12 miles away, it is a perfect base to take advantage of all the festive events taking place in the area including the Christmas Market with its ice rink and the many seasonal services at the Cathedral.
