<h3><img src="https://azure.wgp-cdn.co.uk/app-yourdog/posts/top_five_april_week1.jpg" alt="Dog-friendly holiday properties of the week" /></h3><p>This week's dog-friendly holiday properties include; a holiday cottage with a difference in Wales, a couple of stone-built cottages in Northumberland, and a dog-friendly holiday chalet in Somerset.</p>
The Old Forge — Norfolk
The Old Forge has been converted from the original 18th century working building with the original two forges still in place. Almost every room has exposed beams and there are many areas of original brick and flint walls.
At The Old Forge, they know how difficult it can be to find holiday accommodation which offers quality and comfort for both you and your dogs, especially if you have more than one or two or they don’t fit the small category!
Northcote Manor Farm — Devon
Linda and Jim Watt would like to welcome you to Northcote Manor Farm Cottages – five high quality, self-catering cottages set around the courtyard of an historic and beautiful North Devon farm. Come, rest and unwind in total peace and seclusion.
The cottages are cosy and warm all year round and, with so much to do and see in this corner of Devon, Northcote Manor Farm is perfect for a break at any time.
The Barn At Nant Llwyd — South Wales
A holiday cottage with a difference! This beautifully converted barn, situated just half a mile from the Brechfa Forest trails, has been carefully designed with dog walkers, cyclists and nature lovers in mind. It’s the perfect base in Wales for exploring the delights of Carmarthenshire and beyond – whether you walk, run, climb, cycle or paddle.
The Barn is sophisticated five star self-catering accommodation for active people in a stunning location, and they welcome dogs and their well-behaved owners!
Lazy Daze Holiday Chalet — Somerset
Nestled between Exmoor, The Quantocks and Blue Anchor Bay, a quiet, secluded two bedroom chalet/bungalow sleeping three people.
Two dogs are welcome free of charge — more by arrangement. Lazy Daze is very dog-friendly and they supply dog beds, throws, towels, bowls, toys and poo bags. There are many good walks from the door, including woodland walks and the dog friendly Blue Anchor beach is 3/4 mile away.
Seascape and Redgate Cottages — Northumberland
Seascape Cottage is a stone built double fronted cottage offering stunning views of the many local beaches, Coquet Island and light house. The cottage sleeps up to six people, having two double bedrooms and a twin room. Also available, Redgate Cottage with views towards a sheltered beach, harbour, estuary and Warkworth Castle, it is ideally located and is only a short walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage sleeps four people with comfort.
