The Old Forge has been converted from the original 18th century working building with the original two forges still in place. Almost every room has exposed beams and there are many areas of original brick and flint walls.
They know how difficult it can be to find holiday accommodation which offers quality and comfort for both you and your dogs, especially if you have more than one or two, or they don’t fit the small category! Their own pack currently consists of three lurchers and five deerhounds, so they understand dog owners’ needs!

The Castle Hotel has a large garden with a small wooded area for you to exercise your pet, and are well away from busy roads, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday together. There are lots of great walks in the surrounding fields and hills, and maps and walking guides are available in reception.
