Grassmere House Holiday Apartment - Devon
An ideal base from which to visit the many places of outstanding natural beauty.
The apartment is on the top floor of Grassmere House and is accessed via a flight of stairs, with four bedrooms one an en-suite, spacious, and plenty of room for nine, yet cosy enough for smaller parties.
The village of Combe Martin, which nestles in a sheltered valley, has a two mile long high street, offering a wide selection of inns, cafes, and gift shops leading down to the sandy/pebble bay, where children can bathe in safety and explore the many rock pools and caves.
Within a short distance you will find the golden beaches of Woolacombe, which was recently rated as one of the Worlds 'Top Ten Beaches' and close by Croyde Bay is very popular with surfers. Saunton Sands is in the same area and offers yet another excellent sandy beach.
The Barn At Nant Llwyd – Camarthenshire
The beautifully converted barn, situated just half a mile from the Brechfa Forest trails, has been carefully designed with dog walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers in mind.
The spacious accommodation sleeps four, with two en-suite bathrooms, and a bright, open kitchen/dining and sitting room where you, and your dogs, can relax with the woodburner blazing after a day's exploring.
They have Sky Sports and a Wi-Fi connection to keep you in touch with family and friends, and an enclosed garden with terrace. There is easy access to several beautiful beaches, tourist attractions, and miles of stunning footpaths with panoramic views.
The Old Stables – Camarthenshire
After a major refurbishment, the Old Stables cottage is now a considerably larger cottage than previously, and has been designed with dogs and their owners in mind. It’s easy to clean, with tiled floors and rugs throughout. There are throws for the settees and beds, and lots of space throughout the cottage for dog beds, and an ample supply of dog towels and dog bowls.
There is no restriction on the number, size, or type of dog. In fact, they only accept guests who are bringing dogs with them! Every dog that comes to stay in the cottage has a present of Burns treats, Burns Sensitive treats for most dogs, and training treats which are smaller for small dogs (no matter how many dogs you bring, they all get one each).
There are lots of places for dogs to play around the Farm, and sometimes other dogs for them to play with too!
There is a hosepipe outside the cottage for washing off dirty dogs, spare dog towels, dog bowls, leads, and collars – they can also provide dog shampoo. There is also a 9kg washing machine, and an 8kg tumble drier for washing and drying dirty dog towels (and dirty clothes after those muddy walks).
