The Old Stables – Camarthenshire

After a major refurbishment, the Old Stables cottage is now a considerably larger cottage than previously, and has been designed with dogs and their owners in mind. It’s easy to clean, with tiled floors and rugs throughout. There are throws for the settees and beds, and lots of space throughout the cottage for dog beds, and an ample supply of dog towels and dog bowls.

There is no restriction on the number, size, or type of dog. In fact, they only accept guests who are bringing dogs with them! Every dog that comes to stay in the cottage has a present of Burns treats, Burns Sensitive treats for most dogs, and training treats which are smaller for small dogs (no matter how many dogs you bring, they all get one each).

There are lots of places for dogs to play around the Farm, and sometimes other dogs for them to play with too!

There is a hosepipe outside the cottage for washing off dirty dogs, spare dog towels, dog bowls, leads, and collars – they can also provide dog shampoo. There is also a 9kg washing machine, and an 8kg tumble drier for washing and drying dirty dog towels (and dirty clothes after those muddy walks).
