In association with Trinity House, Rural Retreats is pleased to present Stella at Nash Point Lighthouse.

Stella is one of two holiday cottages available at the lighthouse which is located on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. There are wonderful safe beaches, many of which have been awarded the coveted blue flag. In particular, there is Ogmore-by-Sea (just over 4 miles away), Barry Island, Southerndown and Porthcawl, which are particularly good for windsurfing. Further along the coast is the famous Gower peninsula and walking on the Mumbles.

Laundry Cottage – Dorset

Laundry Cottage is a stunningly pretty, 18th century Grade II listed cottage set in one of Dorset’s best villages, Evershot, right in the heart of Thomas Hardy country. The property has been renovated to a high standard and oozes charm and character.

Just a short walk away you will find yourself in Melbury Park, a beautiful deer park with a stunning Grade I listed Manor house and charming gardens. The Jurassic Coast, recently declared a World Heritage Site and the South West Coastal path are within easy reach and provide some wonderful walking opportunities. Barn Cottage is next door to the owner's home in a tranquil location, half a mile outside Ellingham. It enjoys superb unhindered views across fields to the Heritage coast, with the Farne Islands and Longstone lighthouse nearby - an excellent holiday base to explore the area.

Enjoy The Northumberland Coastal Path which stretches from Cresswell to Berwick on Tweed with its stunning coastline, broad sandy beaches and rugged cliffs capes. Visit Lindisfarne, with its priory and castle by Lutyens. Have lunch at Craster, famous for its kippers and smoked salmon.

West Kellow Yurts

West Kellow Yurts – Cornwall

West Kellow Yurts are situated in Polperro on the edge of an organic farm and only a 10 minute drive to Talland and Hannafore beaches. Hannafore being very popular with dog walkers. It's set in a nine-acre field with a sea view next to a quiet country lane with relatively few passer's by and noise.

They are an eco friendly solar powered yurt campsite (with mains back up) situated on an organic farm in the beautiful and historic fishing village of Polperro in Cornwall. They offer their guests the chance to get back to nature and have a relaxing break from the modern day grind. Whilst at the farm, amongst doing various other activities, you can cook on an open fire, enjoy a BBQ, relax in a hammock/sun lounger, forage the hedgerows or just relax in the peaceful field and enjoy the sounds of nature.
