The perfect holiday house for you and your dog! Sheringham is great for dogs, with dog friendly pubs, cafes, shops, and beaches. This comfortable house can sleep eight, but is also suitable for two to four people. There's lots to do in Sheringham: walk along the beach to Cromer, or along the cliffs to Weybourne (both have dog-friendly places to eat). There's also Sheringham Park, or take the Poppy Line Steam train to Holt, which our dog loves. Go to Blakeney and take a boat trip to watch the seals.

Set up for a stress-free holiday with your dog: dog beds and bowls and information on local dog walks. The downstairs is fairly dog-proof, with wood and tile floors and slightly battered leather sofas. Outside, there is a small enclosed courtyard. There is street parking for unloading (45 mins max), with long-stay parking nearby. Bed linen and towels provided.

The Maltings – Norfolk

Recently voted one of the top 30 cosiest cottages in England by The Times newspaper, The Maltings is a delightful grain store conversion attached to the two hundred year old Brewery House, built originally as the manager's house for Trunch Brewery. Positioned in the tranquillity of a national network of quiet lanes, open countryside, empty beaches and woodland walks, The Maltings provides an ideal hideaway for a romantic stay for dog owners, walkers and cyclists.

The village of Trunch with local shop and post office is just a short walk as well as The Crown public house, which serves real ale and food. Waitrose, Sainsbury and Lidl stores are to be found just ten minutes by car in North Walsham. Concerts are held regularly, during the summer season, in St Botolph's Church in Trunch.
