Whether they excel at their chosen sport, serve their country, or show unconditional support to their owner, Autarky is giving them all the chance to be crowned with the title ‘UK’s Hardest Working Dog 2021’.

There will be shortlisted dogs in each of the categories: Sports & Performance Dogs, Service Dogs, Healthcare & Assistance Dogs, and a NEW category, Working from Home Stars.

The overall winner will be chosen by a team of expert judges from the winners of the four categories, as voted by you! Our judges include Sarah Wright of Your Dog Magazine, world-class wildlife photographer and dog lover Villager Jim, and Clare Fuller from Sure Petcare.

The Working from Home Stars category, which recognises the emotional support dogs have provided for many during the past year, is now open to the public.

If your dog has worked hard to keep a smile on your face throughout the pandemic, and you have a story to tell about their devotion, enter them before the deadline of Sunday, March 28.

The overall winner will receive a year’s supply of Autarky, a hamper of products worth in excess of £500, and national recognition.

Last year’s ‘UK’s Hardest Working Dog’ was life-saving assistance dog Rowley, who was the first ever dual-purpose assistance dog trained by Guide Dogs in partnership with Dog AID. In less than a year, he alerted his owner, Megan, to over 800 medical episodes.
