As part of Pedigree's 'Feeding Brighter Futures' campaign, Paul and TV star Amanda Holden are calling on the nation to ‘paws for thought' this weekend to help feed abandoned dogs.

You can support the campaign when out shopping through Pedigree's ‘Buy One, Feed One' promotion, which will see a meal donated to a rehoming centre for every pack bought. The special packs will be available in store until early October.

Pedigree has committed to donating one million meals to rehoming centres this year - an estimated 324 tonnes of dog food, including 26 tonnes of treats. As part of its pledge to feed one million meals to rescue dogs, Pedigree is feeding 10 Association of Dog and Cat Homes (ADCH) homes across the UK for a year.

Caroline Yates, CEO of The Mayhew Animal Home, said: "We have had some dogs come into our care who have evidently not had the best start in life. The good-quality diet, provided by Pedigree, has greatly aided their recovery. A consistent, quality diet not only reduces their stress levels but also the instances of upset stomachs, leaving us with more time to care for the dogs and give them the love they need."

Visit the Pedigree Feeding Brighter Futures website for more information about the campaign and make a donation.
