UrbanPup.com an online retailer who specialise in high fashion dog clothes and accessories, have produced a range of dog t-shirts and hoodies to acknowledge the selfless work of all NHS staff and key workers. Profits from the Urban Pup NHS t-shirts, sweatshirts, and t-shirt harnesses will be donated to NHS Charities Together.

With so many people now at home and combining their once a day exercise with walking their dog, Urban Pup thought this would be a fun way to get the message out there about how proud and grateful everyone is to our NHS and the people who staff it.

Denis Kelly, managing director, wanted to create a something in a bid to help. He said: “Our clothes, and the dogs that wear them, have always brought a smile to people’s faces, so we are hoping our NHS range will do the same, as well as give a little support to our NHS.

“They have always been heroes to those who have used their services and have seen up close how dedicated and caring they are. If one good thing has come out of all of this, it is that the entire country can now see and appreciate how dedicated and how necessary they are.”

Denis continues: “Our hope here, at Urban Pup, is that this is the beginning of a new found respect for the NHS and those who work for it. We hope that staff will always be treated with the respect they deserve and never abused or assaulted as they go about their work. We hope that when this pandemic is over, they will not be forgotten, underfunded, and more will be done to help them provide care for the communities they work tirelessly for.

We will keep playing our small part to fundraise for the NHS, and we hope every business and every individual in the country will continue to play their part in the years to come.”
