Issue Summary

There is lots to look forward to for dog lovers in March. For starters, over the past few weeks, you’ll have noticed that mornings and evenings are getting lighter, meaning more quality time for you and your dog and the opportunity for you both to witness the emergence of new life and growth as we head into spring. Of course, the icing on the cake is when the clocks go forward at the end of March and we can, hopefully, ditch the thermals!

Another great thing about March is Crufts. The world’s greatest dog show runs from March 9 – 12 at the NEC, in Birmingham. With a packed schedule of all things dog-related, this year it will showcase the first full programme of events since before the pandemic.

Whether you go in person or decide to watch the action on TV, via the YouTube channel, or keep up with the latest news on social media, there’s so much to enjoy — don’t miss it. And remember, if you are coming along to the NEC, pop over to the Your Dog stand to say hello and check out our latest show offers. We’ll look forward to seeing you.

When you do get a spare moment this month, don’t forget to check out all the great features we have in this issue — including an update on Crufts (page 34).

From 10 ways to have fun with your dog, to the inside story on your pet’s incredible scenting abilities, why holidaying with your dog could be the best thing you ever do, and the start of a new series aimed at your active pet, there is plenty to stimulate your interest and keep you entertained — until next month when there will be another issue to look forward to!
