Welsh Springer Spaniel Character

Highly intelligent and easy to train, the Breed Standard describes them as having a "kindly disposition, not showing aggression or nervousness". Devoted to their family, the WSS is a hardy dog who loves work and water. Given the stimulation, they make great pets but they thrive on human company.

Like most gundogs, the WSS will need mental stimulation - whether its retrieving a ball or playing search and find games - giving the dog a job to do will be key to channelling all that energy!
