About Fizzy Living:

At a time when pressure is mounting on the Government to outlaw blanket bans on animals in rental properties, one of London’s leading pet-friendly landlords is blazing a trail. Fizzy Living owns and operates seven sites across London and the South East — Lewisham, Walthamstow, Stepney Green, Canning Town, Poplar, Epsom, and Hayes — and provides a variety of rental options on fully flexible leases.

Q: Voted London’s most pet-friendly landlord by ‘Time Out’, Fizzy Living offers good-quality, rented accommodation for tenants with dogs in easily commutable locations. What do you think sets Fizzy apart from other pet-friendly property companies?

A: “Our residents are our number one priority and knowing that pets are key members of the family, we make them a priority too. In fact, half of the Fizzy team has a pet, so we know first-hand how to cater for them and really embrace them as part of the community — something that’s also really important to us.

“All our residents have access to the Fizzy app, which facilitates communication, such as setting up dog walking clubs.

“From ‘pet stations’ in reception to regular (pre-COVID) pet-friendly events, including DOGA (dog yoga) and Yappy Hour, we go above and beyond for our four-legged residents — and their owners!”

Q: How many of Fizzy’s flats are pet-friendly, and do they all have a dedicated ‘pet station’?

A: “All buildings are pet friendly, and most have pet stations in the reception area. Where there isn’t one, we deliver pet hampers including treats and toys to the building’s pet owners on a regular basis.

“In our newest, soon-to-launch building, Fizzy East16, we’re really pushing the boundaries to make it the most pet-friendly building in London. We’re creating our biggest pet station yet and there is a separate dog washroom, where pups can be hosed down after a muddy walk. We’re also offering residents a pet-friendly furniture pack, which includes carefully selected items that withstand more wear and tear than usual.”

Q: Tell us a little about your role at Fizzy.

A: “I’m responsible for Fizzy’s lettings and marketing strategy and the 1,000 flats in our portfolio. In a nutshell, I ensure our buildings are fully occupied and they’re the happiest places in London to live.

“I’m home by 6pm to take my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Milo, for a walk.”

Q: Are you able to take Milo to work with you?

A: “All Fizzy’s sites are dog friendly, so when I’m visiting any of our locations, I often take Milo, plus many of our on-site managers take their dogs to work. If I’m just in the office, though, I tend not to bring him — he can be a bit distracting!”
