Twice Brewed Inn

The Twice Brewed is set amongst some of the most breath-taking scenery in England and stands in the shadows of Steel Rigg, without doubt one of the most dramatic parts of Hadrian’s Wall.

The Inn is situated on the The Military Road midway between Newcastle Upon Tyne in the East and Carlisle in the West and is close to all the main Roman sites – Vindolanda, Housesteads and The Roman Army Museum.

The Inn is on the popular Pennine Way route and welcomes walkers, cyclists and of course, dogs and their owners to whom we are happy to offer a 5% discount on all purchases (upon presentation of their Your Dog membership card). We serve hearty, home-cooked meals in front of roaring fires in the Winter and al fresco when the weather permits. We also have 19 comfortable, ensuite bedrooms to rest weary walkers, some of which are dog friendly.
