The Coppermines Lakes Cottages are an independent holiday cottage agency based in Coniston, Lake District. We offer a hand-picked collection of quality, dog-friendly cottages in the spectacular South Lakes area.

Our beautiful cottages include unique mountain escapes with hot tubs, luxury village holiday homes, cottages by the water, cosy countryside hideaways and large, spacious Lakeland retreats. 

Sleeping from 2 to 22 guests, with many cottages welcoming multiple pets, our cottages include those with log fires, lake views and enclosed gardens. 

Here at The Coppermines we love dogs. Coppermines dogs Zulu and Ziggee are often to be found in our Coniston office or up at our Mountain Cottages in the stunning Coppermines Valley. 

Each of our guests travelling with their pet have use of one of our 2 dog fields in Coniston village, perfect for off-lead exercising, running and playing.  

And with stunning walks straight from your cottage door, mountains to explore, rivers to splash in and lakes to swim in, your dog will love their holiday in the Lake District almost as much as you will!
