Wonderful idea, what a brilliant forward thinking council.Seems to be lots thinking waste of money, but how so when dogs& owners getting excercise & fun,(CAN'T BE HAVING THAT!)
Hope someones 'little angels'don't vandalise it.
Read ages about one built in woods up north, must trawl mags & find it.

It's such a great idea - I want one near me!

Would love to hear from anyone who's been along and had a go...?

Oh wow, that sounds amazing! I wish there was one near me!!

£7000 doesn't seem like a lot for the council to have to pay either. That much and more certainly gets wasted on things of no use to anyone and that people don't want... like my town built a town clock that NO ONE wanted... and everyone now hates it and moans about it -__- they should have built a doggy playground instead!

When we pay shed loads in council tax,£7000 doesn't sound much, won't hold my breath though, our council are such money grabbers.Would be soooo nice.

I haven't been myself but it sounds good fun.
I had a search around Google and found this: www.forestry.gov.uk/newsrele.nsf/WebPres...82E0802574600051EFF0

These are the forestry commission directions:
Long Newton is the nearest town or village.

By road, Take the road for Urlay Nook and Yarm south from Long Newton. The car park is on the east side of the road about half a mile from the vilge.
