I lost my nan last sunday and i miss her soooooooooo much already, its the hardest thing i have ever had to go through, i dont know what im going to do without her.

My two dogs can sense that i am grieving and they are helping me get through it. i can talk to them, tell them everything and they are always there if i need them.

They are giving me something to focus on and i have a reason for getting up and going out, i love them both sooooooo much

Animals can be so amazing at helping us through bad times.
After my uncle died and my dad got ill, I went through a severe bought of depression, and the only thing that made me feel slightly more normal at the time was being around my aunts dog

I'm glad they're looking after you well.

DOGS ARE VERY GOOD AT HELPING PEOPLE GET THROUGH TOUGH TIMES.

Dogs are amazing - when I lost my gran and grandad, I never had Ruby and I found their deaths harder than when I lost my favourite little-girl guinea pig and I had Ruby, because she was there for me and her bright eyes lit up my day when I was sad.

Dogs are so amazing, I've got the cold the now and stayed in my bed and my dogs sensed it and cuddled in with me, it was so sweet

At least youv got your dogs to look after you. It's probably a good thing being able to talk to them as well, it allows you to get all your grief out.

I often rattle on to Dots when im down, she just sits there and listens. I'm sure she knows what i mean too by how she responds to what im telling her.

my dogs will just sit there and listen to me babble on and on and on, its so good to get it all out but im sure they must be thinking sometimes i could do with a few minutes peace, poor things, i love them for it though. they sense if i ever get upset and will come over and put their head on my knee or snuggle up next to me and touch my hand with their cold wet nose.

Sorry to hear about your Nan, Jo. We were bereaved about three months ago and someone very near and dear passed away. In the weeks since, there are times when coming home to Isaac or taking him out for a walk have been the best part of my day.
There is great comfort in the sweetnes of your dog's eyes.

that is so true, u know that you have their loving eyes staring up at when you get in, its soooooo comforting when you go through times like this. Thanks for all your kind words and support x x
