I was just wondering if anyone watched last night's episode of The Bionic Vet and what their thoughts on it were.

I have to say I felt a bit uncomfortable watching the treatment given to the 6 month old lab puppy who'd been kicked by a horse. To put it through major surgery and then have its leg amputated, appeared to be in the interests of the owner rather than the dog. It just felt wrong to put a puppy through this and I was convinced the vet would opt for euthanasia.

Maybe they should have opted for the amputation in the first place, save the pup alot of suffering.Fascinating series though, and shows how much money people are prepared to spend on their pets.
