it is sad when dogs are lost. i remember when little Jack was stolen (neighbour's dog, but he is like our own dog to us!) and for a week we couldn't find him. the owner is 83 and incapable of the wild goose chase me and mum went on trying to find jack. we put up tons of posters and put jack on this lost dog website. the site was AMAZING. they offered us so much guidance, and when a lady finally came forward with jack, claiming to have bought him from two guys (it was all very suspicious, the lady said her daughter had spotted posters on her way into town (going from Lyndhurst (where she said she lived) to southampton town would not take you past any of our posters) she also said these two guys had found out her dog had died recently (how....?) and approached her offering her jack for £100 (who would buy a dog from two random guys that approached you? i wouldn't!) but anyway, the website gave us hints and tips about when the woman was handing jack over, in case she was tying to get money out of the owner (he was on his own then, unfortunately we were away! but my dad was there and stayed with the owner for the handing over of jack) so we got him back in the end. thank god.
i think this is the website-
you guys should check this out anyway, and see if you live near any of the dogs that have been lost and see if you can help hunt them down!
