Halti or Gentle Leader. 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
When i was at training last night with Sheba the trainer reccomended either a halti or gentle leader to combat her pulling. I was wondering which was the best to go for.

I've got a halti for Kodi which works well, I find I can haold him just with 1 hand and at least I don't get dragged down the road now Took him a while to get used to it he used to spend most of the time trying to rub it off on my leg.

I think the gentle leader is better, but that's just my personal chose, a friend of mine has been through 4 halti (not including one of Ollie's) I find the gentle leader sits better on Ollie's face.

I cant judge from the pics, how short is her muzzle?? As a few of the head collars arnt v. good on short nosed breeds due to the dog being able to get the nose band off easily!

One head collar designed partly for short nose breeds is the canny collar, I didn't find it as effective as the gentle leader but it does have an effect!!

Given the options I would say gentle leader but I prefer to be dragged down the street rather than use eitheir, but
especailly the halti, she would just role over on to here back and lie there so I am still struggling with just getting her to walk on a gundog lead with out her pulling me to the park,

I'm thinking of getting the gentle leader too as it is also meant to help stop barking, something which me and Dot have issues with atm
