You will need:

3 non see-through cups,
A tasty treat,
Your dog


Place the three cups in a line next to each other.
Make your dog sit and wait a short distance away from the cups (get someone to hold their collar if they wont wait) and get the dog to watch you while you lift the middle cup and put a treat under it. Put the cup back over the treat and tell your dog to "find it!".
Time how long it takes for your dog to push over the correct cup and find the treat!

Post your result - no cheating and sneakily taking time off!

This test is to see if the dog has the intelligence to know that things still exist once they can't see them anymore, and how long it takes them to work out that the treat is still there

It's just a bit of fun, so don't take it too seriously!

Have you tried it with putting the treat under the cup and moving all three cups around?
