After breaking into the kennel where his dog was kept after he was unable to reach the staff, concerned owner David Nolan discovered 98 St Bernards living in their own excrement. As reported earlier this month, two of the dogs had to be put down but the rest are in good condition and are recovering well. The RSPCA requested that Northamptonshire police make the recent arrests. After being taken to Corby police station for questioning, the woman has been released on bail until January, however, the man is still undergoing questioning. “We have interviewed a man and a woman in connection with the discovery of the dogs,” said a police spokesperson. “We are no longer looking for the people we were searching for earlier this week but we do have more interviews to carry out in connection with the case.” |
