Seb completes walk

Seb and Flash We reported earlier in the year that 19-year-old Seb Green decided to walk the length of the country to pay for a £20,000 rescue operation.

Four years ago Seb and a friend got stranded in Weymouth harbour after stealing a boat and needed to be airlifted to safety.

In order to make amends, Seb decided to walk across the country with his dog Flash to raise the funds for the air ambulance that rescued him.

“I have given up almost a year of my life and it has been an extremely worthwhile sacrifice,” said Seb, (BBC News).

In total Seb and Flash walked 3,500 miles around the UK and raised just over £20,000 for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
