Crowds have been arriving at the Royal Show to take part in a piece of British rural history. As well as being the 160th Royal Show, this will be last ever.  Despite this, organiser RASE (Royal Agricultural Society of England) believes that this will be the biggest and best Show of recent years.

For dog lovers across the country, the Show has plenty in store.  From dog snacks and treats, to the finest hand-crafted collars, leads and beds, there will be a range of products to sample for visitors.

fatdogandfriends.co.uk, a local professional dog walking company, is offering a doggy crèche at the show should you need to leave your pet, priced at £5 per hour including a walk. The company is located near to Gate Number 2, and you can also pick up gifts and food from their stand. 

The show offers cookery and craft demonstrations and countryside pursuits, an extended farmers’ market and food halls, as well as show jumping. There will also be an action-packed programme in the Grand Ring.
