| Dog shot three times - and lives |
|
![]() When a gunman burst through the door of Roberta Trawick's home in Oklahoma, her dog D-Boy leapt into action. As the intruder shouted at her to get on the ground, D-Boy ran at him, CNN has reported. The gunman shot D-Boy twice in the head but that didn't put off the brave canine. After shooting the dog a third time with no effect, the gunman fled. Ms Trawick said D-Boy was now recovering at home with his family. The veterinarian who treated him said he had a "hard head." Ms Trawick stated that she didn't know who the intruder was or why he had picked her home. She said she's thankful for the police and for D-Boy. However, D-Boy has apparently been on edge since the incident and races to the door whenever someone comes to the home."I'd rather have him than anything," Trawick said. |
