Dog ForumOur bustling forums are filled with the latest canine issues!

Why not sign up to the forums today? It's easy to register and just takes five minutes of your time.

STEP ONE:  You need to register first. At the far top right of the home page there is the 'Register' link.

STEP TWO: Fill out the form with your name, your username, email and password. We also need to know what kind of dog, if any, you own. You can be creative with your username!

STEP THREE: Check your email. You need then to click on the link from us to activate your account. This prevents bogus automated applications from ViagraDog and such like.

STEP FOUR: Click on 'Dog Chat Forums' on the left hand menu.

STEP FIVE: Click on My Profile  within the forum area. This is where you can display a picture of your choice, known as an avatar, alongside your comments.

The My Profile area is where you can also create a digital signature that will follow all your posts. This can be a quote or a personal statement that reflects your Your Dog online personality!

STEP SIX: You are ready to post! The recent discussions link brings up hot topics that are topical. Simply click on the Topic title, in bold, then click on Reply Topic to add to the thead. If you feel that there's a topic you'd like to debate then you are free to begin your own topic inside the relevant area, using New Thread. Please refrain from straying too far from the theme of a thread as this complicates the appearance of the forum.

Other features

When you look at a forum post there are certain elements that you can interact with. In the top right there is a karma rating, this system is based on 'thumbs up, thumbs down' responses to a user and generally indicates how people have reacted to a user's posts.

There is also a record of the number of posts made by a user so you can see how active a member is, with a status alongside this to identify their position in the forum, ie. administrator, new user and so forth.

Our forums are maintained and moderated by us to the best of our abilities, however sometimes inappropriate posts may go unnoticed and in these situations you have the ability to report a post to us for review and we will take the appropriate action.
