Chihuahua found in Brooklyn |

Boy, a six-year-old Chihuahua, escaped from a fenced garden in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, on Monday evening. After his owners spent nearly two days searching the local area, Dino and Teri Vassino, a couple who live 60-miles away in Holbrook, contacted Boy’s owners to tell them they had found their dog. “He’s really cute, he seems to be in good health, except his feet on the underside seem to be cut up,” said the Vassinos (newsday.com). Just how this little dog managed to travel so far in such a short space of time is still not clear, although it looks likely that he either made his way onto public transport or was picked up by a motorist. Boy has now been returned to his rightful owners and is recovering well. |
