Light of my life |
|
About five years later my mum gave in and told me to look on the Internet. I rang many people asking if they had any puppies left (I really wanted a Yorkshire Terrier) but each time, they had all sold them. I was heart-broken and thought I would never get one. But, my mum told me to put a ‘wanted’ advert stating "Yorkshire Terrier wanted - loving home waiting." I went off the computer and crossed my fingers.
My mum always said to ask the angels for what I wanted, (I didn't believe this at first) but I did ask... and I got what I asked for, the perfect companion in my life. As I am an only child, she is like the little sister I never had. Everybody I know loves her so much. I've had her for three years now. She is nearly seven and has won dog competitions and has had operations on her legs but has overcome them all. I want to thank her for being here with me -xxx- Danielle Ray.

Well, my story is about how I found the light of my life. For years, I had been begging my mum for a dog. She had no idea know how much I wanted one. Of course, any child would want a dog, but with me it was different. I had a passion for animals, especially dogs. However, It wasn't meant to be back then.
Within three hours, there was a phone call. It was a family responding to my advert. They had what seemed to be the perfect dog for us three-year-old Minni. She didn't yap, was spayed, toilet trained, didn't mind staying on her own for a couple of hours, didn't moult... and an endless list of perfection. We arranged to see her the next day and fell in love with her there and then.
