Callie came home |
![]() Spot the difference... Labs can look very alike. When Mr Griggs returned from his holiday to collect ‘Callie’ it turns out she was actually given Dixie. The two identical black Labs shared a cage at the kennels and despite pleas from Mr Griggs, staff were convinced he had received his dog. Due to Mr Griggs persistence however, the kennel arranged for the two dogs, Dixie and Callie and their owners, to meet and exchange. Even this couldn’t solve the situation as Mr Griggs and his children again picked out Dixie, a testament to the dogs similarity. It was only when Mr Griggs’ vet confirmed he had the wrong dog in addition to Dixie’s owner phoning the kennel complaining they also had the wrong dog, that the situation was finally solved. “I’m happy and relieved and just want things to get back to normal,” said Mr Griggs (The Oregonian). |
