I knew nothing about this condition before getting Luika and after receiving conflicting information from three different vets within our practise; I decided to use the Internet in an attempt to discover if there was any recommended treatment.

Hydrotherapy seemed to occur time and time again in every one of my searches, not as a cure, but as a way to strengthen the ligaments without putting too much stress on joints.

Luika is now into his second month of hydrotherapy and the improvement in his mobility has been quite remarkable. We still have no idea what the future holds for him, since information on his condition is extremely difficult to find, but until Luika undergoes an x-ray when he is a year old, we plan to continue the hydrotherapy.

I am extremely thankful that my research led me to discover the benefits of this vastly underrated treatment, a treatment that has allowed a young dog to regain much of his mobility.
