A classic terrier, bred as its name suggests, to terrorise foxes by bolting down their holes and flushing them out so that the huntsmen could see their prey.
A keen breed that should be alert and lively in character. Fox Terriers are intelligent and stubborn, classic terrier character traits.
About 39cm in height and weighing around 8kg. Bitches should be slightly smaller than dogs.
A hardy breed free from any major congenital disorders.
Must be careful when walking off the lead, as they will chase small animals they see as prey. They also require firm early socialization to help develop a well-balanced character
